1892 and originated as a University of Oxford extension college. Today, it is
ranked in the top 1% of universities worldwide and holds a world-class
reputation for the quality of its teaching, research and links to business.

Rankings reveal that the University of Reading performs as follows:

ranked within the top 200 institutions at 156th;

128th in Arts
and Humanities;
·
170th for
employer reputation (and is one of the top 30 UK institutions);
·
95th for
international student ratio and 140th for international faculty
ratio.
In addition, the
University’s business school, Henley Business School, is ranked within the
world’s top 40 (2nd in the UK) for MBA provision by The Economist. It is also one of the few
triple-accredited business schools in the world.
