It appeared that the beef between Young Thug and Lil Wayne was dead, but the Atlanta rapper isn't done with Lil Wayne just yet.
Having already released "Barter 6," which was originally going to be called "The Carter 6," Young Thug wants to go
back in "Tha Carter" series and release the oft-delayed "Carter V."
Speaking with NDO Radio, Thugger revealed his intentions.
"I'll drop probably one more mixtape before my album," Young Thug said. "The album is [on] iTunes. I'ma drop one more mixtape. I'll probably name it Tha Carter V cause the original Carter V still ain't came out yet. I don't know what the f*ck they doing. They slow-poking. So I'ma put that mothaf*cka out for him."
The rapper also spoke about his ties to the Cash Money record label.
"Nah," Young Thug said when asked if he's managed by the Rich Gang label. "I'll manage myself. Nobody brought me here, so nobody can take me there. I manage myself. I'm signed with Atlantic... I'm only signed to Atlantic. Birdman is my homie."
The last time Young Thug and Lil Wayne's beef was in the news was back in April.
Performing at Southern State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Young Thug was booed by the crowd as they chanted "Wayne," "Hollygrove" and "f**k you."
In typical Young Thug fashion, the "Barter 6" rapper told the crowd, "I still love you."
The beef between Lil Wayne and Young Thug heightened when during a show in Columbus, Ohio, Lil Wayne said:
"If there were any other albums that dropped recently, tell 'em I said, suck my d**k. 'Carter V' coming soon; ain't no motherf**kin' such thing as 'Carter 6.'"
