It more than likely didn’t include buying luxury whips, multi-million dollar homes and dating a much older guy.
There’s a reason Kylie Jenner appears to be
every bit of 25. Her mom forced her to grow up pretty quickly. Most of us were probably preoccupied with starting high school, making new friends and other teen stuff when we were 14. When Kylie was that age, she was already well on her way to independence.
Yesterday, the teenaged reality star was spotted on a quick groceries run with 25-year-old boyfriend Tyga, who has been assisting her with move-in duties. It was a trip the younger Jenner has been making for herself for the past three years as revealed in a recent interview.
During a chat with InStyle UK, Kylie revealed that her mom financially cut her off by the time she was 14, and that she’s been taking care of herself since she left junior high.
My Mum [Kris Jenner] cut me off financially three years ago, so I pay for everything – my car, my gas and food as well as my clothes. There are so many outfits I bought in the past that I just think now are NOT cute – but there’s not very much I can do about it!Now at 17, Kylie knows nothing about SATs, prom or college acceptance anxieties, but she does know about first-time home buyer anxiety! The teenager purchased her first house a few months ago, shelling out $2.7 million for a Calabasas home in California. Kylie is said to be finally moving into the home this week after getting it remodeled to her particular tastes. And even though she hasn’t been living like it, Kylie is still a minor and is legally her parents’ obligations. That’s why, despite spending her own money, Kris still had to co-sign for her new digs.
Most teens idea of independence at 17 is working at a fast food joint or retail store to buy their own clothes, …but a new multi-million dollar pad?
According to reports, the new spot is 4,900 square feet and includes a home theater, pool, 5 bedrooms, and a chef kitchen.
Trying to keep up with the Kardashians may be the new Keeping up with the Joneses.
