We reported earlier this morning that Super Eagles striker, Emmanuel Emenike, has claimed to be a converted Muslim when he sensationally told his Fenerbache coach, Vitor Pereira, who asked why he didn’t join the squad for breakfast. (Read here).

Well, new reports claim that Togolese player, Emmanuel Adebayor, whose roots are soiled in Nigeria, has also converted to Islam when he was spotted taking the Shahada (the Islamic creed declaring belief in the oneness of God and the acceptance of Muhammad as God’s prophet) on the 5th of July 2015.
The ceremony reportedly took place in Togo, Adebayor’s adoptive country.
