NDLEA to Investigate Davido Over Use Of Hard Drugs In His New Music Video

Almost everyone keeps on talking about OBO, Davido‘s latest music video which features international rapper, Meek Mill. The video which is rated 18+ has been on the minds of music critics and has also gone viral since its release date.
It’s now being revealed that the singer is wanted by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) because of this viral video which hit a million views in ten days of its release.

If you’ve seen the video, you’ll recall that the artiste was seen in scenes where he was conversing with an unidentified man as they bargain over a briefcase of dollars and parcels of hard drugs.

In an interview with NDLEA’s head of public affairs, Mitchell Ofoyeju said;
“The agency considers the musical video, ‘Fans Mi’ inappropriate and indecent. It has the tendency to negatively influence and induce drug use and trafficking. Besides, it is counter-productive on the campaign against drug production, trafficking and abuse. The agency is also investigating the matter and will take necessary action,
Adding salt to injury is Nuella O’Peters who also had this to say;
“It’s really outrageous seeing a brand ambassador and a mentor to millions of African youths indulging in such acts. He even went as far as using the substance for cooking in the video. Can you imagine! It’s uncalled for. I do hope the Nigeria Broadcasting Corporation will do something about the video.”
Oh well, I personally think it’s nice track but has an overrated video.
